EOS, the Evolution of Smooth, lip balms have become a leading brand in the last several years. Their new vegan crystal flavored balm has exceeded sales goals as it appeals to a wider audience that is dedicated to using organic, vegan products. EOS Vegan lip balms are free of animal by-products including beeswax. The Vegan product is so popular that it sold out on the Website the same day they were introduced. When the company led consumers to the stores carrying the product the stores also experienced a rush in sales.

Soon after EOS was introduced, top beauty editors at Cosmo, Allure and others praised the innovative flavors like honeydew and grapefruit.

EOS Overtake the Mainstays:

Even though the EOS brand was introduced just seven years ago, it was widely accepted, partially because top celebrities were spotted with EOS. The perceived celebrity endorsements and quality of the brand soon made it the second best-selling lip balm brand, exceeding everything but Burt’s Bees. The days of buying tasteless Chapstick and Blistex were gone.

Company executives recently told Fast Company Magazine, that they built the company after consulting with research firm Kline. Afer conducting their due-dilligence, they decided to launch the company and the EOS brand. Today Eos is a $250 million company. The company has spurred growth in the oral care category and sells over 1 million units of EOS lip balm each week.
